Highlighting satirical news events and visual art, our friends at Woodshop Films have found a way to keep current global and local events in their sights. A roots style of production put local talent and ideas on a global stage. A big thumbs up for Scrapple TV and Woodshop Films. They make a community based art program that really works.

A new branch of the ArtLifeCulture.com site group has been launched. Alexander Datzuk's Atlantintropic has been in development for a number years. While the work will stand on its own as a representation of The Atlantintropic Vision, patrons of Datzuk's artwork may want to indulge in the initial concept and growth of the Atlantintropic idea.

Atlantintropic will be presented in several artistic mediums and all the background information can be found at Atlantintropic.com, including the text from the forthcoming book Atlantintropic: A Theory of Art, Life, & Culture. Over the next few weeks ALC will be BETA testing a new video chat program designed to connect our artists more directly with their communities.

After the initial testing period we hope to host live studio chats and performances that will feature music, art, and literature. We also hope to spar social talks on energy, lifestyle, education, and the cultural happenings throughout Connecticut.

A flash site like datzuk.com requires a fairly fast computer, a moderately fast connection, with the sound on. Use the silver buttons to navigate around the site, but you have to move your mouse around to find everything. The site changes and works like levels in a video game. ALC is interested in how we all interact with each other as well as the world around us. Aside from the obvious that "LIFE is the opposite of DEATH".ALC is concerned with presenting LIFE as:

1) The sequence of physical and mental experiences that make up the existence of an individual or group as in your "LIFESTYLE"

Culture

While it would seem that Culture is a term that can get lost in translation from one social group to another. ALC wants to make sure that the loss is kept at a minimum by providing a forum to share all our cultural experiences. We want to create a set of attitudes, values, and goals that allow us the ability to enjoy the wealth that all peoples contribute to our humanity.
